Hi! My name is Cecilia Shoults, I decided to start this platform about Osteoporosis because I feel it’s very important for women (and men) to know and understand the truth about this. In addition, there isn’t a lot of clear and honest information out there about how to start, overcome and live healthier with this bone condition. I hope I can support your with your journey.
With much encouragement from my son, I decided to start a blog about my journey with Osteoporosis. I’ve realized that with all the information I’ve learned, it was time to come out and share in my experience. My goal is to empower women, and help wherever I can with their journey in getting through the challenges of having this bone density classification.
It all began at the age of 33 yrs., I was diagnosed with Osteopenia. A compressed fracture in my L5 (lower back) happened. For this reason, I want to share with you my journey about bone health, and what you and others can do to live healthier lives with this diagnosis. I am by no means a doctor of any kind, but rather a advocate for healthier living, I’ve done extensive research on this subject over the past decade in order to better understand what happened to me. For this reason, I started this blog.
Over time I hope my blog helps you while we walk this journey together. Let me start by telling you about my journey and what I have done to help my bone health.
This blog has resources for you, recipes for healthier eating, links to websites where you can purchase vitamins and so much more! Covering a wide range of areas that you can benefit from.
Excited to start? I am too! Let’s get this journey started together!I am a bone health advocate for those faced with Osteopenia & Osteoporosis. I have dedicated 20+ years in researching and developing ways to support and help those who are intimidated by the medical ways and work to improve the journey with a more natural touch. My goal is to provide authentic and clear information about this bone density and help you along your journey with living a healthier life.
Remember, there’s no need to feel alone, taking charge of your bones. I’m here with you along your journey.
