My Mother

My Mother’s Journey,
My Mom was an amazing person, caring, loving. She was so loved by so many, when she passed away this past March my life changed forever. You see my Mom was my best friend, she was the one I called when I had a bad day, or felt sad. She always had the right thing to say to make me feel better. My Mom was there when both my children were born, she was the first one to hold them after me. As a very active person she loved to be outside no matter the weather. She would go out to shovel, mow plant her flowers and even if it was real hot outside. My Mom was a healthy person, she never drank or smoked. She just always took care of herself. So why? Why did she eventually develop osteoporosis, I ask myself. This is why I started my blog, I never imagined a person as active as my mother to eventually develop osteoporosis. My Mom enjoyed life, the last few years she suffered a few compressed fractures in her spine. She was in a lot of pain due to that, as anyone knows who might have sustained the same thing. I know what her pain was, as I myself sustained 4 compressed fractures in my spine. She developed an acute curvature in her spine, which made it difficult for her to get around. I dedicate this website and my blog to my Mother, she gave me strength when I needed it most, and she is guiding me with my journey now.
♥♥♥ Miss you & Love you Mom ♥♥♥
To Mom, may the wings of your angels fly proudly in the heavens above with great might!
This blog is dedicated in lovely and caring memory of my Mother who deeply inspired me. She faced insurmountable obstacles with Osteoporosis.
This gave me immense inspiration to pursue becoming a health advocate for women/men with this bone density classification.
